The final 2 ½ hour episode of M*A*S*H, which aired on February 28, 1983, leads the list of top-rated programs with a 60.2 rating (77 share). The "Who Shot J.R.?" episode of Dallas (53.3) comes in second, and Roots Part VIII (51.1) is third. All three topped the leading sports program, Super Bowl XVI (49.1).
